Spend your Honeymoon in SRI LANKA - Welcome to Sri Lanka

To Mahiyanganaya

Few days ago I went to Mahiyanganaya through Kandy. On my way these are some of  the images I took. Mahawalli river was dried up due to rays of the burning sun but near by Kandy I saw some streams  quenching the thirst of the dried land

Abayagiriya - Anuradhapura

Few years ago we went to Abayagiriya dagoba on our way to Anuradhapura which was a buddhist temple complex great Anuradhapura era. King Walagamba is credited with the construction of Abhayagiri dageba during the period of his second reogn, from 89-77 BC. It is one of the tallest buildings of ancient times. Present day height of this dageba is 245 feet. The relics of the Buddha are said to have been enshrined in a figure of a bull made out of thick gold. the name, according to the chronicles, is derived by combining ' abhaya' ( form the name of King Vattagamini abhaya) and 'Giri' ( name of Nighanta who lived in the jain monastery). An Island Paradise | Sri Lanka

Few days ago on You Tube I found this amazing video on the page of Eye of the Wanderer . It was surely amazing to see the time they spend at my country. I sure that Tamar and James had a great time at Sri Lanka visiting Kandy, Sygiria, Nuwara Eliya, Ella, Horton Plains, Yala and many more.
